The foundation stone of the seacamper® company was laid with the development of the Seacamper 795 in Copenhagen in 2000. Together with the renowned Danish boat designer Jan Kjærulff, the company's founder Peter Grönlund, who has been familiar with boats and the sea since childhood, developed the Seacamper 795 to production readiness. The launch of the second generation, Seacamper 810 in autumn 2006 marked a milestone in the development of the Seacamper.
In the meantime, the product range has been expanded and today various products related to sailing and boating are offered: Webasto heating service and sales, sails from Hydesails, spare parts for Seacamper 810 and the legendary International Folkboat.
